Muslim Law Students Association
There has been an increasing call for an organization where Muslim law students can use an outlet for education and to address Muslim student needs. The main functions of the organization will be to develop and use education as a tool with which to engage peers and further empower student members. Muslim Law Students Association (MLSA) will be used as a source that can educate and promote tolerance and understanding on campus and the greater community. With the growing number of Muslim students at USC Law it is apparent that there is a need for a Muslim Law Student Association. Most of the student organizations are established by ethnic identity and MLSA will allow for students to identify with Islam, which transcends through different ethnic boundaries.
Many of us also participated in a Muslim Advocates Seminar which provided legal and financial training for Muslim Nonprofit organizations and Mosques. Please browse the Muslim Advocates website at:
