Juris Doctor Degree Requirements
To receive the Juris Doctor degree from the USC Gould School of Law students must complete all of the following:
- the first-year Curriculum
- 88 total units
- 35 upper-division graded units
- six semesters of full-time attendance
- the Upper-Division Writing Requirement
- the Practical Skills Course Requirement
- 64 units in “Regularly Scheduled Class Sessions”
