Registration Fees

There are multiple ways to register for the 2015 USC Gould School of Law Tax Institute. Please review the registration options below and customize your registration your way.

Your registration is packed with value!

  • $1,250 Three-Day Registration ($1,300 after January 9, 2015)
    Includes three days of sessions, evening workshops, refreshment breaks, luncheons, evening receptions, and downloadable electronic Syllabi.
  • $925 Two-Day Registration ($975 after January 9, 2015)
    Includes two days of sessions, the evening workshops for selected days, refreshment breaks, luncheons, evening receptions on selected days, and downloadable electronic Syllabi for selected days.
  • $575 One-Day Registration ($625 after January 9, 2015)
    One-day registration now includes one day of sessions and workshops on two evenings of your choice. Registration also includes refreshment breaks, luncheon, receptions on selected evenings, and downloadable electronic Syllabus for selected day.
  • $350 Tuesday Afternoon 'Half-Day' Registration ($400 after January 9, 2015)
    Includes one half-day of sessions, the Tuesday evening workshop, refreshment breaks, luncheon, evening reception, and downloadable electronic Syllabus.
  • $125 (per day) Evening Workshop Registration ($175 after January 9, 2015)
    Includes one workshop on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening and the outline for selected workshop. Evening workshop attendance is already included in the purchase of any daytime registration.
  • $175 Full-Time Law Student Registration (per day)
  • Government employees receive a 15% discount on the purchase of any one, two or three day registration purchase.

Student Registration

Full-time law students are eligible for ticket discounts. Click here to download a Registration Form. Proof of enrollment is required.

Fee Includes

Ticket holders gain admittance to the Institute, including the continental breakfast, keynote speaker luncheon, networking refreshment breaks, and early evening reception, all as determined by the registration type chosen. Ticket holders are entitled to a downloadable electronic copy of the Institute Syllabus (an up-to-date volume of outlines, articles, essays, briefs and other practical materials prepared by our speakers). The Syllabus is provided as an electronic download available prior to the Institute.

A print version of the Syllabus can be purchased for $30 for each day's materials (note, if a syllabus type is not selected when registering, an electronic download will be provided). 

Badge Pick-Up

Badges will be held at Will Call. No badges will be mailed.

Transferability of Badges

Badges are transferable within a firm or company, allowing members to attend sessions relating to their special interest. Only one person per badge may attend at any session. If a registration is transferable, only the firm or company name will appear on the badge.

Syllabus Purchase

Ticket purchases include a copy of the Institute Syllabus (an up-to-date volume of outlines, articles, essays, briefs and other practical materials prepared by our speakers). The Syllabus is provided in either either print format or electronic download available prior to the Institute.

If you are unable to attend the USC Gould School of Law 2015 Tax Institute, Syllabus materials are available for purchase after the Institute. The print version costs $135 for each Institute day, and the electronic download version costs $50 for each Institute day. You may purchase the entirety of the Syllabus in print for $360 or in electronic download form for $135. All Syllabi purchases will be fulfilled after the Institute. A $100 processing fee ($25 for students) will be deducted from all refunds. Refunds will be processed following the Institute.

Parking and Accommodations

Parking for the Institute is available at the hotel valet at a rate of $42 per day for overnight guests. Attendees are encouraged to self-park at The World Trade Center, located adjacent to the hotel at 350 South Figueroa Street.

If you plan to stay at The Westin Bonaventure, you will need to make your own reservations by calling (800) 937-8461 or visit the Hotel website at http://www.thebonaventure.com/rooms. A limited number of rooms are available at a special rate for Institute attendees of $189 for single or double occupancy. All reservations must be made by January 5, 2015, to take advantage of this special rate. When calling to make your reservations, make sure you mention the USC Gould School of LawThe Westin Bonaventure is a non-smoking hotel.
