The 30th Anniversary
Institute for Corporate Counsel

The One Day Event Corporate Counsel Can't Miss!

USC Gould School of Law, the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Corporate Law Departments Section and the ICC invite you to join us at the most valuable event of the year for corporate counsel.

The 30th Anniversary Institute

Russell Goldsmith, Chairman and CEO of City National Bank, will provide the keynote address for the 30th Anniversary Institute. Noted Constitutional law scholars Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and Professor Eugene Volokh will kick off the Institute with a preview of important issues before the U.S. Supreme Court affecting business operations. The closing session will feature General Counsels Stanton Dodge (DISH Network), Daniel Garrie (Focused Solution Recourse Delivery Group), and Deborah Siegel (Guess?) providing their perspective on current legal challenges.

Other notable sessions include a morning plenary session update on developments in labor and employment law with Lafe Solomon (Acting General Counsel, National Labor Relations Board), Julie Su (Labor Commissioner, State of California), and Randel Johnson (Senior Vice President - Labor, Immigration & Employee Benefits, U.S. Chamber of Commerce). Mid-day concurrent sessions will be organized into "tracks" of programming focusing on litigation and transactional issues critical to in-house counsel and those who work with them. Topics will include the latest developments in class actions, financial reporting issues critical to general counsel, significant legislative and regulatory developments, and cross border transactions.

The 30th Anniversary Institute will provide meaningful opportunities to interact with in-house counsel, including a luncheon, networking refreshment break and hosted cocktail reception. CE units for lawyers and accountants will be available.
