LegalTrac, which indexes over 1,000 law reviews and journals, as well as legal newspapers, provides a way to find citations to articles on legal topics. Coverage in the database goes back to 1980 and for the most part one gets a citation, although in some few instances there may be a link to the full text of the article. A few publications from Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand are also indexed.

To search, click into "proceed" and notice there are five ways to search in the left navigation bar. It may be best to start out with a keyword search. Remember to vary your search terms several times to be sure to get as many relevant results as possible. To help you pinpoint your search results, use the drop down menu located next to the search boxes
