Gabriel and Matilda Barnett Information Technology Center & The Asa V. Call Law Library
The primary function of the Gabriel and Matilda Barnett Information Technology Center and The Asa V. Call Law Library is to support the teaching and research activities of the USC Law community. The Law Library also serves the scholarly needs of the larger USC University community, greater Los Angeles and, as physical and staff resources permit, assists the general public and legal scholarship beyond the University.
The Law Library's primary responsibility is to develop its collection and information technology to support the teaching, research, and writing efforts of the faculty and students of USC Law. The Law Library also assumes the responsibility for providing the basic legal materials needed for the University community, unless the materials are collected by another library within the University.
The Law Library has over 380,000 volumes and volume equivalents. The Law Library also has access to a large collection of legal and legal-related databases.
