Welcome to the Online Application Status Check
Thank you for applying to the University of Southern California Gould School of Law!
USC Law requires that all LLM and MCL applicants apply online through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), which includes USC Law's Electronic Application, the Document Assembly Service, and the International Transcript Authentication and Evaluation Service. It is strongly recommended that applicants register for the LL.M. Credential Assembly Service well in advance of our application deadline, February 1. LSAC recommends that applicants register four to six weeks prior to the application deadline. As soon as our Admissions Committee receives your application and materials from LSAC, you can access the link below to check on the status of your application.
How to Access the Online Status Check
You may view the status of your LL.M. or M.C.L. application online using the Online Status Check System, which will allow you to confirm your status in real-time. After you submit your application to USC Law, you will receive an "Application Confirmation" email from our Graduate & International Programs office. Applicants will receive the confirmation email within 3 business days of receipt of their application. The confirmation email will provide you with a username and password for the Online Status Check System, which you will use to log in at the link below. After logging in, you will be asked to create a new, personalized password. Please retain your password in a secure location for your records. You will then be able to log in periodically to view the status of your LL.M. or M.C.L. application.

Admission Decisions
The priority application deadline for the 2012-13 LL.M. and M.C.L. program is February 1, 2012. We will continue to accept applications after February 1, 2012 for consideration as space is available. Admissions decisions will be made between February and April. Admissions decisions will be sent via email and postal mail. The G&IP Admissions Committee carefully examines all parts of the application and strongly considers the applicant's academic performance, professional background (if any), English proficiency, and goals for obtaining an LL.M. degree. Interviews will be conducted at our discretion. We will contact the applicant if the Admissions Committee feels that a telephone or an in-person interview is necessary. All committee decisions are final.
