The Southern California Innovation Project (SCIP) at the USC Gould School of Law, funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, is a research partnership dedicated to expanding our understanding of how the legal environment beyond intellectual property laws supports, or hinders, the capacity of firms to innovate.
SCIP is a research center that draws upon leading academics from law, business, economics, sociology, engineering and other sciences and brings them together with top business leaders and practicing legal professionals.
