Driving Directions to USC campus

The USC University Park campus (UPC) is just minutes away from downtown Los Angeles and is easily accessible by major freeways. For maps and directions to the USC campus please go to http://www.usc.edu/about/visit/upc/driving_directions/

Parking on campus

There is a daily paring fee in the amount of $8.00. They only accept cash. The closest parking lots to the law school are Parking Structure X at Gate 3 on Figueroa Street, See campus map:

Airlines

Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport is located approximately 15 miles from the USC campus. It is served by all major airlines. The 15-mile drive to or from the airport takes about 20-30 minutes. For more information, please go to http://www.lawa.org/lax/welcomeLAX.cfm.

Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating Taxis. Passengers will be presented with a ticket stating typical fares to major destinations. Only authorized taxis with an official seal issued by City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation on each vehicle are permitted in the airport.

Burbank Airport

Burbank Airport is located in Burbank, California, which is approximately 18 miles north of the USC Campus. It is served by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways with frequent schedules along the West Coast; direct and connecting flights across the entire country; and now, nonstop flights to New York. Long Beach Airport

Long Beach Airport is located in Long Beach, California, which is approximately 23 miles south of the USC campus. This airport offers direct flights throughout the United States with easy domestic and international connections. The Airport hosts Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, ExpressJet, Jet Blue Airways, and US Airways. The 23-mile drive to or from Long Beach airport takes about 40 minutes. John Wayne Airport

Located in Santa Ana, California, which is approximately 45 miles south of the USC campus. Airlines serving John Wayne Airport include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, and US Airways Express (Mesa). Shuttle Service from the Airport

Super Shuttle

Super Shuttle is the easiest and most cost-effective way to get to and from the USC campus. It serves all major airports in the Los Angeles area. Their friendly drivers, comfortable vans, and reasonable rates take the hassle out of getting to and from the airport. Super Shuttle roundtrip discounts are available in most locations. Book your door-to-door reservation by phone at (800) BLUE-VAN (258-3826) or online at http://www.supershuttle.com.

Note for travelers: All inbound buses and vans, plus the LAX shuttles, unload on the Upper/Departure Level. Frequent, free shuttle service is provided between terminals (approximately every 12 to 15 minutes) to assist travelers in getting from one terminal to another to make airline connections. To use this service, travelers should board the Airline Connections "A" Shuttle under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections blue sign on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal.

Train Service

Amtrak

The train station is located at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, which is approximately 5 miles north of the USC campus. For information regarding schedules and fares, please go to http://www.amtrak.com.

Bus Service

Greyhound

The Los Angeles Greyhound station is located at 1716 E. 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA, which is approximately 4 miles north of the USC campus. To check schedules and make a reservation, please go to http://www.greyhound.com/home.asp.

FlyAway Bus Service to and from L.A. Airport

The FlyAway bus service links Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the city’s Union Station. It’s a nonstop service and the least expensive way to travel to and from LAX. This is the best bet for travelers who want to avoid airport parking hassles. Travel time is about 45 minutes or less.

Buses depart Patsaouras Transit Plaza at Union Station’s East Portal frequently - every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. At the airport, passengers area dropped off on the Upper/Departures Level in front of each of the airport’s nine terminals. Pick up for the ride back to Union Station is on the Lower/Arrivals Level, under the green signs marked FlyAway, Busses, and Long Distance Vans. USC Tram Service from Union Station:

If you are taking the train or FlyAway Bus Service to Union Station you can catch the USC Tram to get to the USC campus. Service is available Monday to Friday only. Board the USC tram at Patsaouras Transit Plaza, Berth/Station #9. For more information, please go to http://transnet.usc.edu/transit/routes.aspx.
